Government Partners:

The ACT Government through artsACT is providing Key Organisation funding to Canberra Glassworks from 2016 – 2020.  artsACT is also supporting an ACT Arts Residency in 2017 and providing Canberra Glassworks with ACT Visual Arts and Crafts Strategy support.  Canberra Glassworks is receiving ACT Events Funding to support the development and presentation of the Winter Glass Market 2017.

The Federal Government through the Australia Council is providing four year funding to Canberra Glassworks from 2017 to 2020 and Visual Arts and Crafts Strategy (VACS) from 2016 to 2019.

 

Foundation Partners

The Thomas Foundation supports the Thomas Foundation Artist-in-Residence program annually.  In 2014, Barbara and David Thomas OAM also generously donated a valuable collection of glass, ceramics and jewellery books for the Canberra Glassworks library.

ActewAGL has provided cash sponsorship and in-kind support to Canberra Glassworks since it was established.  This sponsorship currently provides support as a Kingston Partner across 1 exhibition and two community engagement programs from 2016 to 2018.

Art Group Creative Fellowship 2017 – 2018

Art Group is sponsoring the Art Group Creative Fellowship program which supports an exemplary artist to work full time from a dedicated studio at Canberra Glassworks.

 

Hindmarsh Prize 2016 – 2018

Hindmarsh is Major Sponsor of the Hindmarsh Prize 2016 – 2018 which recognizes excellence and promotes appreciation of the world-class artists working in glass who live and practice in the ACT and region.

The Tall Foundation also generously contributes to presentation of the Hindmarsh Prize exhibition.

IAS Fine Art Services is providing in-kind freight for the winner of the Hindmarsh Prize and for the People’s Choice winner.

 

Community Partners

Capital Chemist is supporting the introduction of a Glass Outreach Program and an ACT Arts Residency for school students in 2016.

Morgan’s Group provides quality cleaning services throughout the year and for special events such as the Winter Glass Market.

 

Exhibition Accommodation Partner

Doma Hotels regularly provides accommodation for our visiting artists and beautiful spaces to show and sell work in the Realm Hotel, Little National, The Brassey and Burbury.
