Flameworking – introduction

Day: Saturday
Time: 10am to 4.30pm
Cost: $340

Flameworking is the art of melting and shaping glass over a hot torch. Shape the glass into marbles, perfume bottles, sculpted animals and more. An excellent extension for the beading class, to explore the medium further. Think glassblowing on a smaller, more intimate scale.

No glass working experience is required. Minimum of four students required to run class.

Flameworking – the next step

Day: Sunday
Time: 10am to 4.30pm
Cost: $340

This class will consolidate the flameworking skills you have learnt in the Flameworking – introduction. Re-familiarise yourself with flameworking techniques and skills to create a range of more complicated pieces.

Flame working – introduction is required.  Minimum of four students required to run class.

Flameworking – complete

Day: Saturdays and Sundays
Time: 10am to 4.30pm
Cost: $1300

This four-day class will take you from the basics of flameworking through to more advanced skills, creating figurines and animals, blown vessels, and plant and branch forms. An excellent way to explore the medium further and continue creating works on your own.

FOR 14 YEARS AND OLDER

Minimum of four students required to run class.
