To keep the kids entertained this holidays, enrol them in one of these exciting classes!

 

Autumn Colours

Autumn Leaves

During the April School Holidays, you can try your hand at creating a glass tile using Autumn Colours as the theme. A glass artist will guide you through the process and in just 20 minutes you unique piece of art will be ready to be kiln formed. Also, don’t forget to visit the National Arboretum Canberra and be inspired by the autumn leaves, the changing patterns and the colours of our 100 forests.

Cost: $40 (postage extra)

Age: 8+

Dates: 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 26, 27, or 28 April

Times: Every half hour between, 10.30am – 1pm

Glass in your World

Glass is all around us in many different forms. This class takes objects we use and see every day and turns them into beautiful works of art. Based on our Ten Squared – 100 Years of Glass exhibition this class will encourage kids to think about the role glass plays in our lives as well as how art can be made from the most ordinary of objects. Window, domestic and scientific glass will be used to create original and beautiful works of art.

Cost: $120 for a 3 hour class

Dates: 17, 18, 19, 24 or 26 April

Times: 1pm – 4pm

The Great Glass Adventure

Come on The Great Glass Adventure – this behind the scenes tour is targeted at children over 4 years and takes them on a journey of all things glass.

Cost: $5pp

Times: 10.30am
