Tours at the Canberra Glassworks provide an excellent opportunity to see glass artists at work.

Self-guided tours of the Canberra Glassworks are free.

Self guided tours allow visitors to view the drama of glass blowing in the Hotshop, the detailed work of artists flameworking, kiln forming, casting and coldworking in the Workshop, and enjoy the heritage of the Kingston Powerhouse building, Visitors can also view contemporary works of glass art in the exhibition galleries, and visit the cafe and shop.

Guided tours give you a greater insight and intimacy with glassmaking and the historic Kingston Powerhouse: get up close on the hotshop floor, talk with a glass artist, get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the workshops, studios and heritage areas behind-the -scenes.
