The Canberra Glassworks is an initiative of the ACT Government. The ACT Government provides the majority of the funding for the Canberra Glassworks, and the Government anticipates that significant benefit will accrue to the broader Canberra community from the centre. It will provide an opportunity for Canberra to establish itself as a world leader in high quality glass art, bringing to the city an enhanced cultural profile as well as providing employment and economic return.
