In 2012 the Canberra Glassworks will celebrate its 5th Birthday. In just 5 short years Canberra Glassworks has developed a pivotal role in the establishment of Canberra as a world renowned centre for glass art, providing glass artists with facilities that would be hard to find anywhere in the world.
This could not have been achieved without the very generous support of the ACT Government, local businesses and individuals.
Canberra Glassworks will continue to support artists through its facilities, its developing residency programs and its ability to draw artists of international standing. It will continue to provide the public with unique opportunities to view glass art being made on the Hotshop floor, to learn the art of glass making and to provide a first class gallery and shop.
The Canberra Glassworks is not just a gallery, it’s a giant working studio space for artists, a place to learn and a place to have fun. You can help us continue to build our worldwide standing and to provide Canberra and Australia with our unique offerings by getting involved.
