Why we need you!

Volunteering is a great way to learn, support the arts, develop skills and meet new friends.

Glass making at any level involves the sharing of ideas, information and skills. A successfuil outcome is often the result of people working together to achieve a common goal. 

Volunteers have played a critical role in the establishment of the Canberra Glassworks and provide vital support in its ongoing operation.

Volunteer Program

Canberra Glassworks is looking for keen volunteers to help with a range of activities. 

Key roles for volunteers include providing Glassworks' information and conducting heritage tours; working within the education program and glass making demonstrations; welcoming visitors; special events support; and help during exhibition openings and gallery sitting, and more.

Canberra Glassworks volunteers will receive training and will  be eligible for special benefits that say 'thank you' for being a member of the volunteer team.
