Tours & Group Bookings

While you are visiting you are able to explore the public areas of the Glassworks. Regularly spaced information panels give an insight into glassmaking techniques and the heritage of the Kingston Powerhouse. As we are a professional artists’ hiring facility rather than a demonstration studio we cannot guarantee what time artists will have hired our studios to work, so we recommend you call us on the day of your visit to check what times artists will be blowing glass in the Hotshop. Guided tours

These tours provide a commentary on glass artists at work, the different workshop areas and the heritage of Kingston Powerhouse. Free Guided Tours run each Saturday and Sunday at 11am. Bookings are not required however we recommend calling to enquire about when glass artists will be working on the day.

 

Specialist tours

Specialist tours can be tailored for school groups, bus groups, clubs and societies, and professional groups (price on advice).
