We’re running a competition for kids aged 12 and under, to design an Australian mythical creature – think bunyips – to be made in glass at this year’s event. Entries close 4 pm, Friday May 25. The winning design will be blown at Winter Glass from 4 pm to 6 pm in the Hotshop.

Make a tea light, kaleidoscope, sea glass pendant or wonder jar; dig for relics or explore the different textures and sensations of glass in this all-ages activity centre

Help Swedish artist Peter Nilsson creates a narrative inspired by folktales of the Northern Lights, engraving into coloured glass slides. Ages 14+

Using pre-cut pieces of glass let your child’s imaginations run wild with this exploration of colour. Ages 5+ with parental supervision). Bookings essential

Led by renowned artist Kirstie Rea, help create a beautiful fused panel celebrating 20 years of a local independent school, Blue Gum. Ages 5+ with a parent/guarddian

With Jeremy Lepisto MCing double-entendre’s will be flying everywhere as Art Group Creative Fellow Steve Ciezki (all the way from the USA) cranks up his gloryhole and gets blowing (see, it’s already started…)
